Greeting
Our inn has been in business since late Edo Period.
Since we are the nearest inn to Izumo Taisha shrine (It takes three minutes to go there on foot.), many people stay with us thinking the inn is very convenient.
What we are proud of is not limited to the fact that the inn is convenient for visiting shrine. Since we are located in a quiet sanctuary among residences where clans that used to serve the shrine lived, you can make yourselves comfortable while soaking into a hot spring.
What is “Onshi”’s inn?
There is a religious group called “Izumo Oyashiro Kyo” at Izumo Taisha shrine.
Traditionally, missionary works have been taken place in various ways to establish this group.
Once upon a time, our ancestors had served the work. The missionary work was called “Onshi”, and that’s why our inn is called as “Onshi”’s inn.

We set beds in spacious Japanese-style rooms so that families or groups can stay with us.
Since the texture of the wood and tatami mats are comfortable, you can recover from your fatigue and have a relaxing time.

Yakumo
20 tatami-mat sized twin room with bath. It’s located on the second floor.

Soga
Twin room that consists of 8 tatami-mat sized room and 22.8 square meters wide room. (barrier-free room) It’s located on the first floor.

Big Bathroom
Our hot spring is a rare type in our neighborhood. Although it’s not so big, the chloride spring is effective for poor blood circulation. Please stretch your legs and make yourselves comfortable.

Cuisine
Please enjoy dinner at your room or our dining room. You can taste fresh seafood and Izumo soba.
Dinner
We change menu seasonally. It will also vary according to the day’s stocks.
We serve various dishes centering on fresh seafood caught in the neighborhood. Please taste dishes using Shimane Wagyu beef which you can enjoy a good taste of tender and juicy meat, and Izumo soba , a local specialty.
Also we can meet your demand such as changing menu to chopped dishes, changing rice to rice porridge, and making menu that doesn’t contain food you don’t like. Please feel free to make a request when you make a reservation.

Breakfast
Breakfast will be served at our dining room.
We serve dried horse mackerel caught at Hamada City, miso soup with coribicula caught at Lake Shinji and Lake Jinsai, and so on. Please enjoy Japanese breakfast until you’re full.

By Train
It takes 20 minutes from JR Izumo-shi Station to our inn by car.
When you use Ichibata Electric Railway, get off the train at Izumotaisha-mae. It takes 10 minutes from there to our inn on foot.
From the airport
It takes 90 minutes from the airport to our inn if you take a train.
After you arrive at Izumi Enmusubi Airport, take a limousine bus bound for taiikukan-mae. Get off the bus at JR Izumo-shi Station.
Take the Ichibata Electric Railway at Izumo-shi Station to go to Izumotaisha-mae Station. (You need to change train at Kawato Station.)
It takes 10 minutes from there to our inn on foot.
